Why are you a fighter?
I am a fighter because I have a bad temper and anger issues so training physically and mentally helps me control it.
What makes someone a fighter?
Being a fighter to me is when a person competes actively and has experienced the combative discipline in any fight style.
What are your goals in fighting?
I just started training as a competitor this year and I am really excited with the things that’ve learned in just a few months with my new gym so I want a Belt…a shiny one.
What's your favorite thing about fighting?
I love how it is a life style that you have to adapt to that comes with commitment and discipline. I love how I could go out at night and not be afraid because of the knowledge that I have gained from the sport.
How did you get started in fighting?
The Island I am from is called Guam “Guahan” and MMA is our sport. We don’t play football or basketball we honestly fight.
If you could start your fight career over, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t change it but if I had to, I would’ve trained more for my fight instead of prioritizing making money working a second job.
What do you like to do outside of fighting?
I love my job at Prosperity Bank I have been in the banking industry for 11 years now so its easy.For hobbies I like to play basketball and play on XBOX live preferably shooting games.
What is your life motto?
The grace of God won’t take you where the grace of God will not protect you.
The choices you make will determine how successful you will become in the future.
Who has been the most inspirational person in your life and why?
The most inspirational person is my Life partner Anthony Veimau. He is very intelligent,motivating,selfless, and hardworking. I love his fighting style it is a mix of
Capoeira, Muay Thai, a little bit of drunken monkey, with a splash of Island Hunting.
What's something people should know about you?
-Guam is where I am from and we are called “Chamorro”.
